Since the long-awaited lifting of restrictions, REDSEA Gallery has arrived at the end of the pandemic tunnel to finally announce Charlotte Elizabeth Lane’s first solo exhibition after 2 years and our first post-pandemic show.
"I am deeply proud of this new collection of works. It is a reflection of a specific time in our history and a direct result of the increasing connection with nature the last few years have encouraged.
What a luxury it has been to capture the joy and endless possibility of the rising sun and new dawn. To experience and recreate the unwavering devotion of the moon in her cycle. And for me, there is no greater delight than to revel in endless clouds and far reaching vistas.
Each piece is reflection of myself and the human experience, inspired by the world we all inhabit. It’s also a celebration of humanity and the strength we have shown during times of crisis.
To debut this work in Singapore feels especially poignant as it was here I first felt the tug of inspiration that began my sky series." - Charlotte Elizabeth Lane

Out of the darkness comes light the moon shines - this exhibition is a representation of positivity and hope post-covid, the start of the endemic. Charlotte's latest series to be displayed at REDSEA Gallery will also draw inspiration from her ability to always look at the positive side of things. Whereas the well-known psychedelic masterpiece, 'Dark Side of the Moon' an iconic album from Pink Floyd narrated the lyricist's dark thoughts, Charlotte's natural positive outlook on life shows her persistence to look on the 'Light Side of the Moon'.
