French sculptor Val (Valérie Goutard) has been featured in Artsper Magazine's '10 French Sculptors You Should Know About', listed among the bigwigs such as famous neo-classist sculptor Jean Antoine Houdon and the father of modern sculpture himself, Auguste Rodin.

The tapestries and the porcelain plates are the stars of the exhibition as both were designed especially for two museums: Dali’s Teatro-Museo in Spain and Château de Vaux le Pénil in France. Art Republik takes a closer look at the beautifully chaotic works of Zhuang Hong Yi, Chinese- Dutch Contemporary artist. Living and working in two different environments, it is no surprise that his works take influence from both Chinese and European techniques. As an artist that embraces both the past and the present, his contemporary creations roots in the use of colours, themes, shapes and materials (specifically rice paper).
There is always going to be art that can be appreciated at face value, and art that will require several related degrees to even scratch the surface. Anna says "I loved creating stories as a child, and I think its interesting to think about what all these people are preoccupied with."
