REDSEA Gallery Margaret River opens its doors!

1 March 2024

After years in the making we are thrilled to announce REDSEA Gallery Margaret River has opened its doors in Western Australia. At REDSEA Gallery Margaret River we will celebrate the creativity of local artists whilst recognising the talented artists from further afield.

With over 20 years of experience as a gallery owner and founder of REDSEA Gallery, Singapore, Chris Churcher knows the intricacies of curating an exceptional art space to celebrate the skills and creativity of artists. The driving force of inspiration for much of the artwork is the land, seascapes, flora and fauna of the region.

REDSEA Gallery welcomes onboard Tony Wilson, the first new artist representation in the year 2024!

27 January 2024

REDSEA Gallery is proud to bring on board our newest artist and representation, Australian artist, Tony Wilson!

Through the physical rhythm of repeatedly applying paint on the surface, Wilson is known for creating abstract patterns and visual ripples that seem to move over the canvas in gentle bursts of energy that emerge from a central point. The finished pieces are a result of hundreds of hours of work. Please come by the gallery to experience the beauty of his works in person!

Lydia Janssen in Expat Living

Born in Michigan, Lydia received a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and pursued a dance career in New York City. A scholarship at the Merce Cunningham Studio School led her to perform with prominent modern dance troupes, though unfortunately her professional career was cut short by injury. Lydia then turned her focus fully to art. She studied at the University of Massachusetts before returning to New York to the Art Students League, where in her final year she won the prestigious Red Dot Award for Excellence in Painting.

Her current solo exhibition, Yellow Brick Road, is showing this month at REDSEA Gallery. Please click the link to read the full article.
